Alpine Public School Khurja inks climate agreement

ENO India signed up #ClimateAgreement with Alpine Public School Khurja. A Tree Planting day was organized at the school joined by Miss Teen International contestants from 13 countries. WSSC Ambassador, Paavani, emphasized called upon the students and local community to join the efforts. ENO Country Coordinator, Rajiv K Shrivastava briefed local community about the initiative.

Inaugural Video - World Summit of Students for Climate launch in India

Introductory video for WSSC (World Summit of Students for Climate) that will take place in Finland from 29th May to 5th June, was launched at the Embassy of Finland in Delhi, India. The ambassador of Finland, Nina Vaskunlahti, student ambassador Paavani, CEO of ENO Mika Vanhanen and ENO India coordinator Rajiv Shrivastava were -present.

Paavani, a 12-year old climate activist, called upon all the students of the world to join efforts to reduce 3 million tonnes of Carbon dioxide in our environment by 2025. 

Students and teachers from about 100 countries will come to Finland in the end of May. The summit will be organised in co-operation with the city of Helsinki, minister of environment, ministry of education and culture,ministry of agriculture and forest and ministry for foreign affairs. World Summit of Students for Climate is endorsed by the president of the republic of Finland, Mr Sauli Niinistö

World Summit of Students for Climate launched in India

The international launch of WSSC (World Summit of Students for Climate) took place on 18 Jan 2019 in the embassy of Finland in Delhi, India. The ambassador of Finland, Nina Vaskunlahti, student ambassador Paavani, CEO of ENO Mika Vanhanen and ENO India coordinator Rajiv Shrivastava were -present.

Paavani, a 12-year old climate activist, from Dehradun was appointed the first international WSSC ambassador for India.

Students and teachers from about 100 countries will come to Finland in the end of May.
