Introductory video for WSSC (World Summit of Students for Climate) that will take place in Finland from 29th May to 5th June, was launched at the Embassy of Finland in Delhi, India. The ambassador of Finland, Nina Vaskunlahti, student ambassador Paavani, CEO of ENO Mika Vanhanen and ENO India coordinator Rajiv Shrivastava were -present.
Paavani, a 12-year old climate activist, called upon all the students of the world to join efforts to reduce 3 million tonnes of Carbon dioxide in our environment by 2025.
Students and teachers from about 100 countries will come to Finland in the end of May. The summit will be organised in co-operation with the city of Helsinki, minister of environment, ministry of education and culture,ministry of agriculture and forest and ministry for foreign affairs. World Summit of Students for Climate is endorsed by the president of the republic of Finland, Mr Sauli Niinistö
